1. What is the latest release version?
Version 10, released April 2018.

2. Will Remark Office work on non-Windows OS?
No. Remark Office is strictly Windows-based.

3. Will Remark Office run on a server?
No. Remark Office is not a server application, and will not run on servers.
However, Remark Office supports server interaction for database-related functions.

4. Why is my installation not working?
You need to “Run as administrator” upon installing the software.
You may need to install the .NET Framework for the software to work.
Installers are provided for in your CD, and at our download page, for your convenience.

5. Why can’t I save on the Demo version?
With the demo version, you can create template file, scan completed forms (up to 10 records), and generate reports based on collected data.
Functions to save, export, or email of data/results and other advanced features are only available in the licensed full version.

6. How many answer sheets or records can I grade at once, on the full version?
Our recommended soft limit is 10,000 records.
This is further restricted by the data fields and formats of the database you’ll be exporting to; the details of which can be found in the User’s Guide.
You can go beyond this limit at your own risk.

7. Are SDKs available?
No.

8. How does your licensing work?
One license per user-account on one personal computer.
The licenses are perpetual, and will work as long as your computer is operational.
For hardware failures and activation issues, please refer to Annual Maintenance & Support.

9. Why do I need Software Maintenance?
The Annual Maintenance & Support ensures that your software is kept up-to-date with the latest release; and you are supported on license or activation problems.
